Does Smith Mountain Manor offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and events?

Yes! The property boasts gorgeous indoor features AND gorgeous outdoor spaces for your event and/or photography purposes.

How much does it cost to have a wedding or other event at Smith Mountain Manor?


You can find an estimated cost list on the “Pricing” tab of this website. You are also welcome to call and speak with one of our directors if you have any further questions regarding pricing.

What is the maximum number of guests permitted?


While the majority of our events are in the range of 40-80 persons, our maximum capacity is 100.

Do you require an exclusive caterer? 


No - While we have preferred caterers and can certainly link you with local talent in your price range, you are not required to use a specific caterer. 

What is included in the event price?


This price includes your use of the outdoor and indoor spaces of the venue for the ceremony AND reception; bridal dressing room; gentlemen’s dressing room; tables; chairs; linens; china; chargers; silverware, and in-house centerpieces.

May I tour the property?


Yes, absolutely! Please note that tours are *by appointment only* and limited to 5 persons per group, as the Manor is a private property and is not open to the public. To schedule a tour, please contact us.

What deposit is required in order for me to book my wedding/event at Smith Mountain Manor? 


A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve a date and book an event. The remainder will be due 72 hours prior to your event. 

What payment options are available to make payments for my event/wedding?

You may pay via check or debit/credit card.
